Control Center

The Control Center is the authenticated admin dashboard for managing the site, modules, content, users, roles, logs, settings, and builder workflows.

Access

Login

Administrators sign in at /login. Successful admin users are redirected to /control.

Permissions

Access is controlled by the user role and the canAccessControlCenter check. Non-admin users are redirected away from admin routes.

Account

Signed-in admins can update their profile name, email, and password from the Account screen.

Logout

Logout invalidates the session and regenerates the CSRF token.

Dashboard

Metrics

The dashboard includes built-in metrics and module-provided metrics. Current metrics can include total users, admins, active modules, pages, templates, layouts, media files, blog entries, forms, and email accounts.

Attention Counters

Modules can add their own dashboard and sidebar attention counters. Counters with a value of zero stay hidden. Active counters appear as compact clickable pills and can link directly to comments, entries, drafts, or other module queues that need action.

Module List

The Control Center shows discovered modules with their status and metadata. Core modules are locked. Optional active modules can add their own admin menu entries.

Common Admin Workflows

General Site Setup

  • Set site name and tagline.
  • Set site URL, support email, and admin email.
  • Choose locale, timezone, date format, and time format.
  • Enable maintenance mode and write a maintenance message.

Content Setup

  • Create pages.
  • Assign legal and system pages.
  • Create layouts for header/footer/navigation.
  • Install blog layout presets.
  • Publish blog posts and categories.

Design Setup

  • Choose a frontend theme.
  • Set colors, typography, content width, spacing, card styling, and custom CSS.
  • Use Visual Builder for pages, layouts, templates, forms, and emails.
  • Import complete HTML files from Templates to create reusable draft templates.

Operations

  • Review audit logs.
  • Manage user roles.
  • Moderate blog comments.
  • Export form entries and subscribers.
  • Test email accounts.
